What is your Pain?
The question beyond the Tissue
If you’re reading this, you know that persistent pain is exhausting. You might be able to point to where it hurts, but the truth is, once pain has lasted longer than six weeks, the story is no longer just about the muscles and joints. Your pain has become a state of being, involving your brain, your nervous system, your emotions, and your beliefs.
It’s time to stop asking, "What did I do to my back?" and start asking, "What is my entire system trying to tell me?"

The Integrated Truth: Pain is Psychosocial
At the heart of modern pain science is the Psychosocial Model (also known as the Biopsychosocial Model). This is the key to breaking the cycle. It shifts the focus from a purely physical problem to an integrated human experience influenced by three equally important components:
Where Does Your Cycle Begin?
The biggest hurdle is often realising that the sequence matters less than the cycle itself.

Did you suffer a physical injury that healed, but the stress and fear associated with it caused the pain to persist? (Physical start, psychological maintenance).

—OR—

Did an intense period of emotional stress, anxiety, or burnout cause your nervous system to become hyper-sensitised, leading to real physical symptoms like tension, headaches, or muscle pain? (Emotional start, physical manifestation).

For most people, it’s impossible to separate the two. And that's exactly why I treat the whole human.

This program is designed to meet your pain wherever it began—whether in the tissues or in the turmoil—to help you reset the entire system and reclaim your capacity to heal.
